But the further we went, the harder it rained. By the time we got back, our cloths were soaked but the BOB jogging stroller kept Jacob dry.

Perhaps the worst part of the rain was the further deterioration of the driving we see around town. In clear weather, many drivers don't stop at red lights, stop signs, or for people in the crosswalk. In rainy weather, as we saw this morning, drivers are even less aware of their surroundings and their poor habits are magnified. We are only a few weeks away from temperatures that will result in drivers making their way around town peering through a tiny hole in the frost of their windshield until their defroster kicks in. I always wonder where the police are.

Pets Running Loose

This morning the temperature was very mild, probably around 50 and only a little breeze coming out of the canyon. When we got down to Main Street there was a medium sized dog in the intersection, obviously hit by traffic but unable to move. Krista ran into the Maverick and asked one of the employees to call and have the dog removed from the intersection. Apparently they did not see it was there.

This is another case of pets running loose in town. So many pet owners seem to think it's OK for their pets to run loose. They seem surprised when their dog growls angrily at us as we run by. A little common sense would be nice so their prize pooch doesn't end up like the dog this morning in the intersection.

Baby Jogger

We recently purchased a baby jogger (the BOB Ironman) through an online outlet and we are extremely satisfied with it.
